I have a bad feeling about tonight (was listening to Left, Right &Center)
I don't know what it is: maybe something about the atmosphere.

I listen to Left, Right and Center every week, and today Bob Scheer and Arianna Huffington went after George Jr. (okay, I admit I only caught the last 10 minutes), and they did it well, but the other two (both guests) seemed to think that it was dragging the discourse into the mud.

Something in the air has me worried. I'm nervous by nature, but was enthusiastic until then.

Anyone else have a bad feeling?

Good Lord, 2.5 hours left. I can't take it anymore!!!

3. You gotta let what's going to happen happen.
If it goes poorly (it won't) then you can feel bad later but don't get a head start on it!

My other piece of advice is to not watch cable opinion before or after the debate.

5. Not nervous. No bad feeling. Just tired.
Kerry brings a nimble mind, humanity, a good grasp of the issues.

Bush brings a jumbled, scary mess inside his brainpan.

you imagine what would happen if Bush does well?

That is what concerns me. All that Bushler has to do is do better than last week (the bar is very low) and the mediawhores led by Tweety will begin licking *'s crotch again!

19. If Bush doesn't fall down it's a tie
If Bush bests Kerry even once, it's a landslide victory. And worst of all, the whore press will have all weekend to say so. Kerry will literally have to mop the floor with Bush to be declared the winner.

That's why we need to hit the online polls tonight, and at least twice tomorrow and Sunday. We were victorious the first two times because they couldn't argue with the poll numbers. The fat lady hasn't started singing yet!

22. I'm confident George Jr. will do better than last time, and as such
and as the "underdog" he'll score free points.

I do trust Kerry, but it's a tight line to walk now, to go far enough, but not to go too far that you get everyone feeling sorry for George Jr.

I think this is it. Kerry can cement serious momentum with this, or he can let it go back to the starting line.

George Jr. just needs to look Presidential and he's made progress from last time.

Gahhhhhhhhhhh!!!

8. I hope that
the beating is not as sound as last week, but I think Kerry will be okay.

Remember, foriegn policy is Bush's strong point--he sacrifed everythign for it.

What can he say about healthcare, economics?

Of course with the town hall meeting and real people getting to ask teh questions, it will probably be people saying "I'd just like to say god bless you President Bush and go to hell you liberal mass bastard" just like what happens in Bush's campaign events. . .

14. Foreign policy is his strong suit, maybe, buuuuuuuuuuuttttt...
It's proven an almost unequivocal failure - every part of it.

At least with domestic issues he can say - "Look, I haven't done anything, so I couldn't screw anything up!"

No matter what you think of Gibson, all the questions are submitted to him, and he chooses which ones to call on.

Right/left or center, he's a professional and he wouldn't let that happen in a national debate.

go out and run around the block.

Play with your cat -- dog whatever.

Remember -- Kerry is a finisher. He thinks on his feet. He has truth on his side.

Our job is to hit all the online polls -- if CNN feels the need to remove their poll over 10 minutes because the numbers don't fit their desperately manufactured creation (know as bush) -- then we just vote again in their new poll.

has worked well for me and going into these debates in confidence, and we have kicked butt on both. doing the same for this one. kerry is so smart, he isnt going to get flubbed up, and that is all he needs today, humor and facts,..........and if comes empathy. stay true. he has stayed true. that will be his winner.

33. Kerry has been producing under pressure
his entire life. I worry by nature too, but I'm not worried about Kerry going out and laying an egg. I am curious to see what Bush will do -- nothing he could do would surprise me, including getting angry and walking out of the debate. I'm curious to see how the talking heads spin this thing.

As for real worries, the last one I had was the jobs report today, and that was a fist in the gut for Bush, although it sucks for the rest of us.

The runners are even, we're coming toward the home stretch, it's going to be a hell of a finish. I'm going to enjoy the end of the race, and do what I can to see that my guy wins.

All bunkerboy has is his record and it it MISERABLE.

He can only spew LIES.

Kerry will do fine.

He has the TRUTH on his side.

Plus all the EVIDENCE that has been accumulating in the past week plu all the other evidence that supports this latest evidence.

THE ENTIRE RATIONALLE FOR GOING TO WAR WAS A BIG FAT LIE, THAT ONLY BUNKERBOY AND HIS GANG OF CRIMINALS BELIEVES IN ANYMORE!

Kerry will do fine.

Put down the KoolAid!

Grab a Chianti or a Scotch or a Bong.

Plus some popcorn.

This should be REAL good - he will go down BIG TIME!

There is simply NOTHING bunkerboy can run on to back him up for his utter FAILURE for the last 4 years +. NOTHING.

I think I (we) are just nervous because we realize that the whole thing rides on tonight, and expectations are so low for George Jr.

I don't mean that if George ties tonight (the best he can get is a tie, IMO) we lose, I mean, on the contrary, if Kerry scores as high above George Jr. tonight as he did last week - WE'VE WON!

And I'd dearly like to win sooner than later.

:)

Thanks for the encouragement. It's apprecaited. I'm getting confident again!

Chimp has put the nation on hold while he has gone on safari in search of terra-ists, coming up empty and is now fresh out of excuses. He put all his chips on Iraq and turned up absolute total failure. He has virtually nothing to show for the last four years. He has nothing but invective and lies about his opponent to run on.

I can imagine Kerry feels a bit like a kid in a candy store. Can't you???

like some people watch sports. These debates are like the playoffs at first I all hyped up, then get a little case of the "Worst case senario" jitters, like imagining Kerry trying to pull a clinton-like hug and it just not working. Then I think about who he's up against and I'm excited again..Then as the debates start I get a little clamy in the hands, but when the first hit comes out I'm rocking.
