LOL - Freepers new strategy to counter online Kerry votes tonight
Remember that their brilliant strategy for the Edwards/Cheney debate was supposedly that they would all vote for Edwards. That was going to sink us for sure, lol.

Here's tonights new strategy from freepshit mrplind:

To: lowbridge

I have a new strategy. Consider this: What if we didn't touch one poll tonight. What if every online poll out there was like 90 percent Kerry and 10 percent Bush ... I bet the online news outlets would start getting pissed at the Dems and their stupid tactics. I think it would be better than trying to out FReep 'em!

2. Unilateral disarmament! I love it!
If they want to concede, I have no problem with that. It would work even better if they decided to try this "tactic" on Nov. 2.

13. In their universe, they rule and we roll over
Now that we're fighting back, that is entirely out of their belief system in how the universe is supposed to work and they just can't handle it. They're entering a fugue state (and I don't mean by Bach).

Good for them, the pathetic little Hitlerjugend wannabes.

I did not vote twice on any of those polls. It is discouraged, anyway. Freepers do, tho.

won after the debate, then vote for him with ONE vote, just like any HONEST person would.

14. Unbelievable they call Dems "robots"
The way bush and company control the media (and bush supporters) is a classic example of how Nazi Germany happened.

I used to wonder as a kid how it was possible and to a lesser degree I have been living it for 3 and a half years!!!!!

skinner can just arrange it so that they can't get at it, like he does with the "search" feature.

21. They should try that same tactic on November 2nd!
That's a great idea! They should stay home. When Kerry wins in a landslide, everyone will scoff at the obvious "Dem poll rigging" via overwhelmingly superior turnout...

22. Whoops... freepers inciting each other to break the law
As we all know, there's nothing illegal about encouraging people to vote in online polls - if the media are stupid enough to report the results, that's their own fault. But this:

+++

...is an attempt to organize a denial of service attack, which is illegal.

Oh dear.

28. Why not block the IP address?
If you block the IP address of the FR server, the links there won't work.

It should be a simple .htaccess file on the server.

26. Those online polls cannot be all our own doing.
The Free Republic is a much larger website with much more traffic and an equally motivated audience. They posted our own poll lists on their own site within minutes of our doing so.

They more than cancel our vote.

Except for one thing: a lot of them think that if they lie, they're going to hell.

Their silence last week and Tuesday night is deafening.

If true then all freepers are going to hell! I don't believe hell so I guess it's not true.

31. The media wouldn't expose it if their polls were rigged
1. The polls drive a ton of traffic to their sites
2. Web hits = ad renevue for them
3. Because of that, there's no way they would want to discredit their polls even though they know they are unscientific.

They can't admit that we annihilated them in the last two post debate spin wars, so now they are going to pretend that, um, they weren't really trying. Yeah, they didn't try, that's why they lost. Heh.

34. CNN did take that poll down like 5 times...
didn't they.

Whatever kids! You go about things your ways, we'll go about them ours.

Does DU *really* (or FreeRepublic for that matter) have that much of an influence on the big polls. I can understand Freeping or DUing having an effect on small 1000 respondant polls, but on 1/2 million on CNN.com or CBS, etc.?

Won't they look incredibly STUPID (as always) then. :)

And speaking of STUPID...why would anyone get pissed at the "Dems and their stupid antics" if the ONLY VOTERS were Dems??? Anyone with any actual BRAIN -that leaves out all rightwingnuts- would realize it meant only Dems bothered to vote.
