Poll question: Post-Debate Spin: Which channel(s) will you watch?
Seems most of us watch C-Span for the debates themselves. But what do you do the second it's over? Do you want to see the spin, or do you avoid it altogether?

10. Same Here.
Even though Maher doesn't agree with me 100% of the time, I'll take him over Tweety any hour.

4. I'm surprised CBS doesn't get more votes-
isn't that the "truth" network?

Me, I turn it off before they start spinning and get on the computer.

5. C-Span because they provide direct feed, split screen to allow...
...viewers to see candidate reactions while the other is talking, just like if you were in the audience. I will channel surf if I have to to get that. During the Edwards/Cheney debate last Tuesday, only about half of C-span showed the split screen. In the Kerry/Bush debate, C-span was the only network that used split screen. I go where I get the truth. No pan and scan, no editorial crap from the networks. So I hope C-Span comes through for us.

16. But what about after the debate?
I watch C-Span during them, but afterwards I can't stand the Bushbots who phone in. I go to MSNBC (I like Ron Reagan) for awhile, then flip around (while yes, getting to the computer, too).

Drive it. You should be perched in front of your monitor, not the television.

11. I don't get CSPAN for the debates.
Which is just as well, because the wiring for my cable sucks. Any channel above 30 gets really fuzzy. But for my spin, I generally see what CBS has to say. Most of my undecided friends watch CBS, so maybe there is something to that.

I love my Dish satellite and would never consider going back to cable for that reason alone.

28. In the rest of the house it's great.
Just the one room where my television is. Truth is, though, I watch The Daily Show. . . and, uh, that's about it. I keep the cable around because I get about 2 megs/second download. ;)

15. I'm going to be taping it off of ABC.
We've just got antenna, and ABC comes in the best for us. I'll be taping it because I've got to help my husband study (yet again) for his insane human anatomy and physiology class. He has to study for this class everyday after he gets out of work. The class only meets on Saturday, so it is a major cram session (plus two classes have been canceled this semester due to hurricanes and there will be no make up days).

I probably won't brother to watch them chit-chatting about the debates afterward. I don't have time for it.

It's all propaganda so I am busy polling, blogging and emailing to
counter the Bush propaganda personally...so that means switching the channels and hitting many websites rapidly.

21. I'll watch C-SPAN for the debate .
Right after the debate I always flip to the main channels ABC, CBS, NBC and PBS. I will surf them to get the main stream take.
Then I'll switch to MSNBC if the good Tweedy shows up . If the bad Tweedy is apparent I'll watch C-SPAN or CBS.

39. Oh Fox for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I mean they're just so damm fair and balanced, plus they have the hottest news-babes.

No, seriously, Fox cause I got about 2 dozen Nerf baseballs down at the local Mikey Mardin's real cheap (Mainers will know Mardin's, for all others, a discount salvage store), figure the wife and I can bounce those off the set and watch the cats chase'm. We're kinda torn as to when to let them fly, I want to wait until Fred Barnes goes post-debates smug and she wants to let Brent have it right between the eyes at first post-sight. But we'll keep that up until 11 and then switch to HBO.
