4. Why not celebrate...
Anything to help Kerry get elected is good right now. If people have to go without jobs for a month to get better jobs for the next four years, it's worth it. What ig there were 500,000 jobs created...should we be happy then? No, because that would help Bush win and these people would be worse off in the long run.

We're all on the same side here. Job losses suck. But in the long run, Bush needs to leave office, and anything that can happen to hurt him in the next couple of weeks will help in the next four years.

That's my justification, anyways...

9. I myself am not celebrating bad job numbers. I want them to wake up
a few million impovershed RWers that their plight is only going to get worse with another 4 years like these have been. If it takes a little suffering to wake them up, I am sorry to my soul that it will take that. But at least they will hopefully reconsider who they pull the lever for on 11/2.

12. believe me, I'm an engineer, which means I'm one of the damned
I'm only rejoicing because if Bush is in, all of the tech that requires
significant skill, experience and education is damned.

I cannot tell you how many Master degreed engineers I know who are
desperate for a job at Home Depot...

the cheer is maybe this has a chance to end!

5. No
Not Hurray! Our economy sucks;

It is: "Hurray, the people responsible for our economy sucking is being called on it"

6. Great!! Bush screwed up our economy! Yeah!
Yes, Bush wasted tons of taxpayer money. Yes, Bush raided Social Security for its entire surplus. And yes, he is going to pay for it at the polls. Only the last part is good. I would not call this a score. We needed those jobs.

7. We need those jobs.....
But not until Nov. 2. Those people are in a real tough spot. But it's easier to take knowing their suffering will bring about a better America in 24 days.

10. You'll excuse me if I have trouble finding the "good" in this bad news
Kerry kicking his ass is a consolation prize. Life in a America still sucks because of that idiot.
