1. That would not be a good idea at all. Even CNN acknowledges that US

knew about all the shenanigans but wrote it off as a tradeoff to Russia and France to keep their support on sanctions - and sanctions had a broad bipartisan support in the US, and still do, in fact one argument those who have criticized the war have cited are those sanctions.
