Poll question: Undecided voters vs. non-voting base
I was making some Phone Corps calls last night and had a conversation with a very nice woman who was already working hard to get Kerry elected. She said that her philosophy was not to sway undecided voters, but to motivate members of the base who don't vote to get out and vote. Which group do you think is most important to winning the election?
1. Problem is, non voting base should know better...

If you consider yourself liberal and aren't voting to get Bush out of office (of which the only way to do that is to vote for Kerry), then nothing anyone does is going to convince you. I'm sorry but I firmly believe that is true. This election is drawing the line. I can stretch and see where people couldn't see the need to not get bush elected the first time. But after what has gone down in the past 4 years there is no excuse for thinking that there is "no difference".
The undecideds I chalk up to being uninformed. You can correct that more often than not by informing those people and exposing them to information. I expect more from liberals and more from "the base".
