6. Our CBC just did a story on them this morning

They even had an interview with Alex Jones, the journalist who came into town to do a story on the Bilderbeg Conference.

He claimed that he was treated pretty roughly at Customs, that the customs officials were screaming obscenities at him and demanding to know what he intended to do.

He said that he almost broke down and cried. Not for himself, but for the system turning into a police state.

He was finally released when the CBC reporter doing the story came down to the airport and vouched for him.

He did say that the customs officials were extremely apologetic afterwards and almost begged them not to tell anyone how how he was treated, because they "didn't want to lose their jobs". Weird. I wonder what the customs officials were told about him?

As a side note, the story went on to mention all the conspiracy theories about the Bilderbergs. Such as the claim that they set oil prices, that they control the weather and that they're actually not humans at all, but alien lizard-men. Sort of cheapened the real concern that some have about them, I thought.

And the story, continuing in the "conspiracy theory" mode, mentioned an interesting quote from Charlie Sheen.

Sheen said, "9/11 videos aren't the Zapruder film. They're a Zapruder Film Festival"

8. Jon Ronson wrote a book called "Them"

that included the Bilderbergers (among other secretive organizations). He tried to "crash the party" and wasn't quite sure what he found -- it was alternately the biggest conspiracy the world has ever seen or a whole lotta nothing, extremely rich men playing golf for a weekend.

I believe he also documented the endeavor with a filmed piece for BBC.

They've been sneaking around for years. Its not widely reported on because they own most of the media, but it can hardly be classed as "conspiracy theory".

I think the actual conspiracy is to cover things up. I'm learning to come to this forum first because its got way more interesting stuff in it. The only things allowed on the front anymore are those vanity "rants".

We're allowed to know who is invited there, we're allowed to know they talk about things that are of great importance to the world - it's just that we're not allowed to know exactly what they discuss, what decisions they make, what policies they decide on. We're supposed to trust them, that it's all for the better. Better for whom, that's the question.
