Progressive sites ignoring 911 Conference in Chicago...

You'd expect that the corporate media would refuse to cover the historic conference, Revealing the Truth, Reclaiming our future, in Chicago today through Sunday- but all the progressive sites are hiding their collective heads in the sands of non controversy as well.



Kos won't allow any 9/11 posts....he bans them and the posters without comment.
Buzzflash has not posted a single reference to the 911 Truth Movement.
Raw Story has not covered it..... no one has so far as I can see. On and on.

4. Jesse's account this morning of the conference...

First.. he told me there was a 'packed house' - which is really encouraging. Here's his newsletter:

I am currently attending the 9/11 Revealing the Truth convention in Chicago. I will be updating the news page as time permits but I will not have the time or resource to send out a daily news letter.

I will be returning to NY at the end of the week and I will resume newsletter distribution then.

For those of you who attend the convention and want to see my presentation I will be presenting in Salon 3 on Sunday at 9: AM.

The press conference was overflowing with people and media. The speakers included Alex Jones, Ralph Shoenman & Barrie Zwicker, to name a few.

I was able to ask a question to the panel. I was humbles as the room broke into applause for me as I announced my name and affiliation to TvNewsLIES.org. I was overwhelmed by this because I realize that I am making a difference.

Before I posed my question I asked if there were any members of the corporate media covering the event. Nobody responded. I then asked if anyone from Amy Goodman's Democracy Now was covering the event. Again...the room remained silent. I said that I was "not surprised!"

The keynote speaking event was overflowing with people ranging from costume wearing truth seekers, young teens, senior citizens and parents with their children. It was very inspiring.

I was able to spend time with Jim Mars, Dylan Avery (Loose Change), Lenny Charles (INN World News), Alex Jones, Barrie Zwicker, Webster Tarpley among others. I ran into Roger, from 911blogger.com. I was able to meet Meria Heller, one of my heroes! I am very encourages with the start of this event and I am looking forward to the rest of the weekend.

I am sorry about not being able to provide a regular newsletter this week but I promise to resume daily newsletter distribution when I return.

....anyone can post there, even fascist disinformation 'agents' (cough). Like the Indymedia posts said - you want more mainstream coverage, you have to do something about the paranoid ufo creepies, the anti-semites and fascists who skulk around there. No one is going to report on a 'movement' that doesn't take itself seriously enough to do those things. A 'movement' is more than websites and conferences and the window dressing and moralist guilt-tripping. You have to do research and make phone calls etc.

Oh, and, you know, these conference things usually have pictures and reports on the conference website after it's over.

So where are they?

No one is stopping people from building up their own websites.

You want stuff in the media, you work on it. You don't just 'collect' information. You WORK at it.

Since when are activist movements about sitting around waiting for the media to call? Did anyone call the 'progressive' media or try to recruit them????? Do you people really know the ropes AT ALL, or do you just use the Cliff's Notes?

9. It's weird how there has not been any real information

someone posted pics and I guess Steven Jones talked about his latest research, but I found that on Alex Jones! The guy from 911 Eyewitness Rick Siegal said he tried to tape a lecture and security stopped him. People were saying on another forum that the people who ran it were control freaks, what good is it if no one gets any information?
