Unknown crime syndicate pulled off September 11 in order to make a killing in the stock market by "betting" on a decline in AA, UA and Boeing stock AND stealing most of the gold from beneath the WTC. They pinned it on Al Quaeda and pulled off UA93 and the Pentagon as confusing diversions to deflect the attention of law enforcement.

Hey, I think I've got the start of a great suspense novel. Anonymous internet participant posts this theory. It's picked up by the NSA and by some amazing coincidence is processed by the brother of one of the leaders of the crime syndicate. At Thanksgiving dinner he tells this crackpot theory and his brother gets him to unwittingly release the IP address.

Beautiful buxom redhead learns just in the nick of time that she's being targeted but doesn't know why. She's on the run and is rescued by a rogue FBI agent who as coincidence would have it was one of the agents on the scene at the WTC who found the abandoned gold transport truck.

Okay, seriously now. What is up with the gold at the WTC? Are there really billions of dollars missing?
