Alone in the Universe?
(awhile back I ordered these interview tapes-they were quite impressive, not preachy or glamorous or weird)

cont'd: http://www.disclosureproject.org/ES-DisclosureImplications-2.htm

IMPLICATIONS
FOR THE ENVIRONMENT, WORLD PEACE, WORLD POVERTY
AND THE HUMAN FUTURE

A BRIEF SUMMARY

Copyright Steven M. Greer, M.D, March 2001

For most people, the question of whether or not we are alone in the universe is a mere philosophical musing — something of academic interest but of no practical importance. Even evidence that we are currently being visited by non-human advanced life forms seems to many to be an irrelevancy in a world of global warming, crushing poverty and the threat of war. In the face of real challenges to the long-term human future, the question of UFOs, extraterrestrials and secret government projects is a mere sideshow, right? Wrong — catastrophically wrong.

The evidence and testimony presented in the following pages establishes the following:

Ø That we are indeed being visited by advanced extraterrestrial civilizations and have been for some time;

Ø That this is the most classified, compartmented program within the US and many other countries;

Ø That those projects have, as warned in 1961 by President Eisenhower, escaped legal oversight and control in the US, the UK and elsewhere;

Ø That advanced spacecraft of extraterrestrial origin, called extraterrestrial vehicles (ETVs) by some intelligence agencies, have been downed, retrieved and studied since at least the 1940s and possibly as early as the 1930s;

Ø That significant technological breakthroughs in energy generation and propulsion have resulted from the study of these objects (and from related human innovations dating as far back as the time of Nicola Tesla) and that these technologies utilize a new physics not requiring the burning of fossil fuels or ionizing radiation to generate vast amounts of energy;

Ø That classified, above top-secret projects possess fully operational anti-gravity propulsion devices and new energy generation systems that, if declassified and put to peaceful uses, would empower a new human civilization without want, poverty or environmental damage.

Those who doubt these assertions should carefully read the testimony of dozens of military and government witnesses whose testimony clearly establishes these facts. Given the vast and profound implications of these statements, whether one accepts or seriously doubts these assertions, all must demand that Congressional hearings be convened to get to the truth of this matter. For nothing less than the human future hangs in the balance.

4. There are people who believe the earth
is only abut 8,000 years old and that we didn't evolve. They believe the devil planted the dinosaur bones and all scientists are atheists.

There are people who believe women should hide their shapes so as not to tempt men with their sexuality and all women are evil.

There are people who believe that republicans favor the middle class and are only concerned for the welfare of this country.

If people can believe that crap, they can believe anything.

5. it doesn't make sense :
"That significant technological breakthroughs in energy generation and propulsion have resulted from the study of these objects (and from related human innovations dating as far back as the time of Nicola Tesla) and that these technologies utilize a new physics not requiring the burning of fossil fuels or ionizing radiation to generate vast amounts of energy;

Ø That classified, above top-secret projects possess fully operational anti-gravity propulsion devices and new energy generation systems that, if declassified and put to peaceful uses, would empower a new human civilization without want, poverty or environmental damage."

if it was the case, it would be already out. Any advanced country that could come upon such technology would use it for its own purposes. Because WHO made possible that the technology "escaped legal oversight and control in the US, the UK and elsewhere"...

Skulls and Bones ?

Bullshit

10. occam's razor
if there is intelligent life in the universe and it obeys the same physical (and chemical) principles with 400 trillion stars, we should be getting some "I Love Zrutkkbsss" reruns from some other planet, unless they are more than 200 light years away and roughly in the same technological phase that we are.

Radio transmissions on that series of wavelengths are the first indicators, and we just haven't found any yet, which doesn't mean they're not on their way.

But I doubt we've been studying alien interstellar propulsion systems for sixty years and haven't at least found a way to hop back up to the moon or pluto to store radioactive waste.

That or life on earth isn't as intelligent as we'd like to believe.

16. All other factors aside, our radio waves really haven't traveled that far
100 or 200 LY sounds like a long distance, but considering that even just the disk of the Milky Way is over 1000 LY thick out where we are, our radio waves haven't even traveled half of the thickness of the galactic disk yet. Our EM radiation hasn't even left our backyard yet relatively speaking (nor could we pick up EM radiation unless it was nearly next door).

Regarding alien civilizations traveling here -- I highly doubt it unless they've found a way to travel FTL, which might not even be possible (in fact, all of our current mainstream physics says it probably isn't). Using our fastest spacecraft (the Deep Space One probe), I think it would take over 15,000 years just to get to Alpha Centauri (one way). Considering that would encompass the entire span of known human history, much less the return trip, I'm not entirely surprised nobody has shown up on our doorstep yet.

17. there is maybe intelligent life in the universe, the point is not there
and maybe there are UFOS, I don't know...

I just state that if some had landed, crashed or otherwise transferred their advanced technology to earth (without controlling it) it would be known. Do you imagine that if the US government (or another one) had access to antigravity they wouldn't use it ? The statements quoted imply that some conspiracy has taken over... But even if it was so, why HIDE it ? Why not use that technology to seize power ?

That's why it doesn't make sense. It has nothing to do with some UFO from planet Melmac maybe visiting now and then...

Edited on Thu Mar-09-06 02:16 PM by petgoat
Maybe for the same reason other military technoloigies are kept secret?

Maybe because it's useful in covert ops and of relatively little utility in conventional ops?

Maybe because if it were revealed to the world, other nations would start their own antigravity
programs?

I heard Nick Cook on NPR once, gave an hour to his book in the book store. He seems pretty credible
to me.

32. I think that occam's razor would prove the existence of aliens
in that there is life here. Life evolved here on earth. Life must not be unique to the set of conditions found on earth. Thus, life, elsewhere, exists.

Of course life on earth isn't as intelligent as we would like to believe.

39. that's the fine slice
there is very likely life - but there is no reliability to estimates for its intelligence or awareness.

I believe it's out there - I just think we're out in the boonies and that it IS a big lightspeed universe, which makes borrowing a cup of sugar from the neighbors problematic.

44. significant technological breakthroughs
B.S.? not entirely. Here is an example.

Record Set for Hottest Temperature on Earth: 3.6 Billion Degrees in Lab

"One thing that puzzles scientists is that the high temperature was achieved after the plasma’s ions should have been losing energy and cooling. Also, when the high temperature was achieved, the Z machine was releasing more energy than was originally put in, something that usually occurs only in nuclear reactions."

8. Greer profits from fraud.
Do not confuse his CSETI with SETI.

" Even those who support Dr. Steven Greer, the medical doctor whose Center for the Study of Exterrestrial Intelligence (CSETI) offers training courses in how to communicate with ETs , are embarrassed by his wild claims and try to keep them under cover. For example, in late February CSETI's Website carried the following item: "A recent attack by covert forces with a deadly Sarin-like nerve gas on the ET spaceport under 14,345 ft. Mount Blanca, Colorado, ended in disaster when the attacking forces were overcome by gas and a quarter of the personnel involved had to be medically evacuated.... According to Greer, around `30 people saw ET craft flying nearby.' Greer, and late-director Shari Adamiak, went up the trail alone, and `remote viewed the ETs inside the mountain.' Came back down the trail to get the group and all went back up to spot where they had remote-viewed on the trail. People in the group saw Greer disappear in a `gold light' which seemed to be coming from above them. Then, a `semi-circle of a dozen ET elders, all different sized,' that were visible with the naked eye, surrounded Greer who seemed to then disappear. ETs `communed' with Greer. They said they were `under attack in the mountain by covert military forces.'"

Can be found in Harry Turtledove's "Worldwar" series. For that matter, George Adamski and Frank Edwards (and here I'm REALLY dating myself) put forth their claptrap in much more engaging manners.

And Edwards' books cost a quarter.

34. Are you kidding me?
Perpetrators of 9-11 belong to a transnational crime syndicate that includes all kind of nationalities (including American).

Of all the 9-11 CT related posts in DU GD very few refer to "jews did it" or anything like that. The reason why those posts are send to the basement is because they deal with 'controversial' CTs, not because they are racist.

Beyond that, why is it that when people suggest 9-11 involvement of Israel and Arabs, it is racist, but when people say the US is involved in an illegal war in Iraq it is not racist?
Before you say there's no American race - there also is no jewish race in so far that a significant number of jews are not jewish by race but only by religion.

And of course no-one here has actually said that "Arabs are stupid cave dwellers". What has been said - and this is in fact part of the Official Story - is that Bin Laden/Taliban plotted and directed 9-11 from a cave in Afghanistan.

How did the Israelis paralyze the US air defense? And how did they arrange for the

The earth is not a cold stone, spinning in isolation in a dark and empty space. It is alive. More, it is not on it's way towards a distant goal of perfection -- it is perfect now, and so is all of life. Life, meaning that life force which gives energy to the universe, to earth, and to you, is indeed a miracle. Every day, take pleasure in the miracle of life. Take pleasure in being part of the miracle of life, with that energy force that flows within you and without you.
