How many people know for certain that the 9/11 cover story is a lie?

This is what I am trying to process now. There must be an awful lot of people who know that one part or another of the official story does not hold up under scrutiny. Did I hear someone say that 50% of New Yorkers do not believe the official story? What about people who work for the FAA? the military? law enforcement? firefighters? architects and structural engineers?

But even more importantly, what about our elected officials? Bill and Hillary Clinton would be extremely familiar with what kind of military response should have happened to a terrorist attack... how could they not suspect that something is very wrong with this story?

Griffin is a professor emeritus who cannot be hurt professionally or politically by speaking out, so he is not taking a risk in that sense. Yet he has no special sources of information that are not available to everyone else. What about all those people who do have access to more information because of their position?

Is there anything worse than covering up a crime of this magnitude?

Not to mention the dozens of "messages" already sent to those who would dare speak out.

A plausible cover story, in light of the war-game exercises that were happening on 9/11, is that the hijackers were double agents who took advantage of inside information to pull off the attacks. I do wonder about all the people "in the know," such as senators and those in the intelligence community--they must recognize that the story WE have been given about 9/11 is a joke. But of course, in light of National Security, lying to the people is positively patriotic. So, what do they believe?--the people with security clearances, the members of the 9/11 commission, etc.

I found one of the greatest points Michael Ruppert makes in "Crossing the Rubicon" is that the time spent in the classroom gave * the perfect alibi.

2. The ones that are coming forward

so far are people who know a small part - not people who have been part of the cover up, but people who have witnessed it inside government agencies. Like Sibel Edmonds, Robert Wright, Indira Singh and others. People are on a need to know basis anyway. Nobody knows anything more than they strictly need to. Why come forward when you have a non-verifiable story that no one will take seriously and risk your life or that of familiy members doing that?

Both Edmonds and Singh have hinted at the role of illegal drugs and money laundering here and how that money finds its way into the campaign war-chests of certain politicians. So for those politicians, there's a reason to keep quiet right there. My guess is that this goes for most of those involved: lots of benefits (economical, promotions, etc) from keeping quiet about the limited information they have, the implicit threat of being suicided if they talk.

6. What we do know for certain

is that many, many issues of 9/11 have not been satisactorly explained by the government.

David Ray Griffin has exposed many of the unanswered questions. Michael Ruppert has brought others to light.

At the very least, we should expect that the government would want a full and complete examination of the causes of the worst attack on America. Instead, we have had nothing but stonewalling, misinformation, and whitewashing of the truth.

As just one example, why didn't the 9/11 Commission seriously investigate the effect the war games had on the attacks?
