the fact that extensive CGI was used in Avatar starting in 2005 hardly bears on the fact that CGI technology was very advanced in 2001.

You know, this shit is getting old. There is (wo)man-on-the-street video of eyewitnesses who saw the planes and, in some cases, those planes were described by those witnesses, albeit in various ways. There is plenty of video/audio and eyewitness testimony all over TV/radio tape, newspapers, and on the Internet that there were ACTUAL, REAL AIRPLANES involved that day. As soon as the news broke on Sep 11, 2001, that a plane had hit the tower, I started rolling VHS tape and I recorded for the next two days. I have in my possession video of eyewitnesses on the street (and some in their homes) that day saying they saw planes.

So, I would suggest you no-planers just get over it.

QUALIFIER: For those of you who may not know it, I do not believe the "official" story about 9/11. Though I don't consider myself part of the 9/11 Truth Movement, mainly because I'm not actively trying to move anything on this issue, I guess I'm nevertheless what is known as a "Truther". But whatever. My position is simple: I just don't believe 9/11 happened the way we were told it did. I will never apologize for feeling this way and I'm not insane nor am I given to goofiness like UFOs and ghosts and La Chupacabras or Bigfoot. I'm a very reasonable, curious, intelligent person. If I were active in the 9/11 Truth Movement, my cause would simply be to advocate for a new and truly impartial investigation by a multi-national panel consisting of experts at least from the countries who lost citizens in the attacks. And don't ask me how such a panel would have any power to conduct such an investigation. I don't know! I just know that some how, some way, it needs to get done, whether than by symbolic multi-national means or by domestic means. I hope, as always.

They saw the tower explode with no plane but were later convinced by TV that a plane had hit it and that was what they really saw. And not a single one of them thought... "Hey! thats not what happened!". Every single one is a complete moron in spooked's view.
