Official Conspiracy Theory Bible Chptr 1
In the beginning the word was Bush, and Bush looked around and saw it was good time to raise hell.

On the first day Bush made votes go away and kept the rest of the votes from being counted.

On the second day he made Cheney his puppetter.

On the third day he told Afghan that they had a choice of gold or bombs.

Fourth day he made Cheney the lord over terrorists.

Fifth day he got his daily briefing and waved off the warning.

On the sixth day he read the book Petgoat as America was attacked.

And on the seventh day he went shopping and declared he had hit the trifecta.

1. I've maintained for a long time that Truthers believe
Bush and Cheney have powers reserved for deity.

4. He did all those things only because God told him to
someone who commits massive crimes with total impunity from the law...could be said to have God-like powers.

8. You need to revise your Bible, part of it is wrong....

"On the second day he made Cheney his puppetter."

Bush did not choose Cheney as his VP. Cheney was head of the group that was supposed to choose Bush's VP. Cheney chose himself.....

In July 2000, after serving as the head of then-Texas Governor George W. Bush’s vice presidential search committee, Dick Cheney was announced as the Republican vice presidential nominee. As the vice presidential vetter, Cheney required at least 11 potential candidates to fill out “an extraordinarily detailed, 83-question form” delving into their backgrounds.

Bush’s staff assured the press at the time that Cheney “subjected himself to the same kind of scrutiny” as the other contenders. But a new book by Washington Post reporter Barton Gellman reveals that Cheney “never filled out his own questionnaire.”

There is the VP and then there is the puppeteer?

But I am glad to see there is no argument on any of the rest. Whew! Had me worried there. <grin>

ETA: Not every VP is a puppeteer, and not every puppeteer is a VP.

12. Follow the neocon trail, BeFree... Cheney and Rumsfeld go way back together
Cheney's political career began in 1969, as an intern for Congressman William A. Steiger during the Richard Nixon Administration. He then joined the staff of Donald Rumsfeld, who was then Director of the Office of Economic Opportunity from 1969–70.<12> He held several positions in the years that followed: White House Staff Assistant in 1971, Assistant Director of the Cost of Living Council from 1971–73, and Deputy Assistant to the president from 1974–1975. It was in this position that Cheney suggested in a memo to Rumsfeld that the Ford administration should use the US Justice Department in a variety of legally questionable ways to exact retribution for an article published by The New York Times investigative reporter Seymour Hersh.<18><19>

Cheney was Assistant to the President under Gerald Ford. When Rumsfeld was named Secretary of Defense, Cheney became White House Chief of Staff, succeeding Rumsfeld.<12> He later was campaign manager for Ford's 1976 presidential campaign.<20>

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dick_Cheney#Early_White_House_appointments

Cheney and Rumsfeld both access to classified documents, such as Operation Northwoods, for many many years before they became public knowledge. They've had plenty of time to plan an "Operation Northwoods version 2.0"... aka 9-11

George W Bush was a puppethead, no more, no less. It was Jeb Bush, a fellow PNACer, who was supposed to run in 2000, but his loss in Florida put a damper on that, imho..... all George the Dumber knew was that he was going to get to be president, and he could dress up in little uniforms and wave at his mommy...

Follow the neocon trail for the path to 9-11. Forget about "no planes" and "video fakery", those are disinfo campaigns designed to make the truth movement look like looney tunes. If you want to talk about switched planes, or planes that the auto-pilots had been hacked and remote controlled, we can go there.

Peace,

Ghost

This implies those fellow DU'ers are less than truthfull, or "agents". Not sure why you refuse to belive these folks are serious. I for one do not think Spooked is an agent working for anyone but himself.

15. Since you mention it, I may have used too broad a brush there...
I'm sure there *are* some folks who truly believe in the no planes or video fakery aspect of 9-11 but, in all honesty, I personally think it's just disinfo...

Ghost

14. In the beginning, a little bit earlier
Day One -2: Huntington, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Clash_of_Civilizations

Day One -1: Zbigniew Brzezinski, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Grand_Chessboard

Day Zero: PNAC, http://www.newamericancentury.org/statementofprinciples.htm

"Our aim is to remind Americans of these lessons and to draw their consequences for today. Here are four consequences:

• we need to increase defense spending significantly if we are to carry out our global
responsibilities today and modernize our armed forces for the future;

• we need to strengthen our ties to democratic allies and to challenge regimes hostile to our interests and values;

• we need to promote the cause of political and economic freedom abroad;

• we need to accept responsibility for America's unique role in preserving and extending an international order friendly to our security, our prosperity, and our principles."
