1. No.
If it did, it would have been covered up.

3. more eveidence of the use of thermate ?
How did you get to more evidence, without having any evidence for thermate?

Or was the first actual evidence for thermate posted somewhere and I missed it?

6. The evidence for thermate:
Molten metal in the basement
molten metal pouring out of WTC2
mysterious sulfidation attack of WTC steel samples in FEMA Appendix C

7. Not quite ...
1. I have never understood the molten metal argument. Logic dictates that it would be molten aluminum - the WTC were packed with it and it melts at a much lower temp then steel. The smoldering fires in the rubble pile were certainly hot enough to keep aluminum molten.

2. The molten metal that poured out of the WTC was Alloy 2024 - the stuff that planes are made out of. It melts at 935 F - the fires were definitely that hot.

3. No one has every explained the chemistry that links sulfidation to thermite. In any case, the rubble pile was awash with sulfur so it is ridiculous to argue that it could have only been due to thermate. Here is a white paper that directly answers Appendix C.

8. Correct me....
if I'm wrong, but isn't aluminum silver in color when in a molten state? And isn't steel more orange-yellow in the same state? Honestly speaking, the biggest majority of pics I've seen of molten metal, post-collapse, is yellow to orange in color. Thanks.

9. There are no pictures of molten metal
Edited on Thu Dec-14-06 06:56 PM by hack89
Molten refers to melted metal in a liquid or near liquid state. You are referring to the steel beams that were heated red hot in the rubble pile by the fires. Since the thermate was gone before the collapse was finished, that heating was not due to thermate. Furthermore, if thermite was used to cut the beams it would not heat the entire beam red hot - remember that thermite was originally (and still is) used to weld railroad tracks. While it generates a lot of heat, it is for such a short period that it can't heat up the entire railroad track.

on edit: any heat source that can make a steel beam red hot is hot enough to melt aluminum. If there were "pools of molten metal" as it is claimed, they surely were aluminum.

13. Here's one

From WTC 2 - 80th - 81st floor.

Didn't the NIST folks admit this was molten metal in one of their reports?

19. Molten aluminum alloy
Melting point, lower than regular aluminum.

Mixed with the glowing remnants of everything bunched up in that corner after the plane struck the South Tower.

Not thermite.

20. It is Alloy 2024
http://www.tennalum.com/td2024.htm

The stuff planes are made of. It melts at 935F. Don't need Thermate for those temperatures.

4. To make things easier, can you please provide ..
a sample picture of of what steel cut by thermite looks like so we can compare the two. After five years of rigorous research by the 911 truth community, surely someone has come up with one by now.

Thanks in advance.

5. ...a picture of a beam -known- to have been cut by thermate.
It's an elementary thing.

If this stuff was used to demolish the towers, we should know what a beam cut by it looks like.

21. No - that's not even steel

That is a piece of the Aluminum cladding layer.

Notice the man cutting the beam here:

Notice how, in order to get at the steel beam, he had to cut through the Aluminum cladding layer first:

Now, go look at the piece of metal you have circled in the photograph in the original post. That's not even a piece of steel.
