This photo of WTC 7 is false
I've found it used on two sites:

Debunking 911 Conspiracy theories:
WTC 7

http://www.debunking911.com/pull.htm

9/11 Conspiracy Theories:
The 9/11 Truth Movement in Perspective

http://www.skeptic.com/eskeptic/06-09-11.html

I have some issues with this picture.

It looks photoshopped in certain areas and it would be nice to see a larger version. I remember it was posted here, but can't find it.

But the reason it is false isn't photoshopping, but that it does not prove there were any fires in the WTC 7 and, that cloud of smoke does not come from WTC 7, but WTC 6.

Look at the layout:

Here's the view angle:

As you see it goes directly across the WTC 6, which burns a very agressive fire.

Let's walk from behind the Winter Garden and out into Vesey Street:

The smoke is visible over the Garden roof, but does it come from the WTC 7?

This shows the smoke is not from WTC 7, there's smoke all over the area.

The WTC7 pictures were found by DoYouEverWonder and posted September 22, 2006:

(I'm just ripping off yer find, DYEW ;-))

1. Thanks for the credit
Edited on Mon Sep-25-06 05:19 PM by DoYouEverWonder
Interesting pictures aren't they?

I'd love to know what time they were taken?

Funny thing about this one is that there is no dust or debris on this street, yet they are only about a block away from Ground Zero.

9. If you look at the full series
It shows a lot of dust in some places. Maybe they were taken between the collapses?
http://www.spesh.com/mirrors/wtc2/page_01.htm
Here's a time walk:
First image in series, the first tower has just collapsed. Note the dust/smoke clinging to the building.

Some streets are filled with dust:

To the southeast of WTC complex:

To the west of the WTC complex, the photographer seems to have walked around the site from east to west. This pic shows the fallen South Tower, it appears. From West street?

The harbor behind WTC, this is the last pic before the OP pics.

From the last pics, it shows a fire in WTC7, and also some strange reflective imagery:

Larger versions:

It would be interesting to know when these pictures was taken.

11. He covers a lot of ground
so I would imagine it took some time to get down there and then walk around the whole site going from east to west to north then back east. By the time he got to WTC7 the 2nd tower had to have come down already.

Very interesting series of shots.

I'm also interested in shots of ground zero after the WTC2 came down but before WTC1 fell. There's some strange stuff going on in there.

12. I agree
The scene between the fall of Tower 2 and Tower 1 would be interesting to see.

But the pictures of the burning WTC 6 must surely be after the north tower fell? Also the damage to the building to the left in the Winter Garden pictures suggests that. That damage came when the north tower fell, not the south tower, no?

2. my take
The smoke has drifted over from #6 and the towers and pushes up against Building 7. It has no where else to go.

If it were originating from #7 why would it be just located on the one side of the building?

4. watch this video
go here:

http://agenda911.dk

they have posted a "WTC7 Southside" video. shows alot of smoke but more interestingly, flashes that appear to be possible cutting charges going off.

not saying you are wrong that the photos above are faked, just thought you might be interested in the video as it shows lots of smoke coming from WTC7.

5. Even if they haven't been altered a little
they have definitely been misrepresented by the OCTers has proof of a big fire in WTC7 and severe structural damage. These pictures prove neither.

6. Good find, I've never seen that! The guy is Barry Jennings
and here is the news article/thread on him and how he says "the lobby was gone". There you have it, those lights on wtc7 were the same thing you can see less clearly on the towers, and that isn't
acting like a raging fire, I think they are heating the structure for collapse.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=125&topic_id=110238&mesg_id=110238

What's weird is those still pictures in the OP look photoshopped, like someone was trying to "brush" the smoke over to wtc7. I also never noticed that on wtc6 where there is that white smoke which I've seen before it looks like the building is being "brought down". If you look at the rear of the building it looks like there have been explosions and those guys are standing and watching it.

13. an extraordinary amount of smoke,
some black, some white, pooring from the windows.

But no visible fire.

This is in stark contrast with the amount of smoke coming from the fires that were visible on the other sides of the building.

And yes, those flashes do look rather suspicious.

7. "pull" is not used specifically when a building
is pulled away with cables from another building during demolition.

See 9/11 Mysteries
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6708190071483512003&q=9%2F11+Mysteries
In it you will hear a demolition worker say they are ready to "pull" one of the remaining WTC buildings, and there's not a cable in sight.

Also, re smoke/dust: I see the same plumes visible in the images be called "smoke" in one instance and "dust" in another instance - which is it?

8. I think it's a mix
Of smoke and dust?
Personally, I think the 'smoke' on the pic in question looks like the wave from when the WTC1 fell, just as it hits the building.

The 'pull' must be answered by the 'sceptics', it belongs to the page at the 911-debunk-site, and is not my quote.

10. From the NIST report
L.2.1 Damage from WTC 1 and WTC 2 Collapses
To place the events leading to the global collapse of WTC 7 into context, it is helpful to summarize the
events of September 11, 2001:

8:46 a.m. WTC 1 was struck by an aircraft
9:03 a.m. WTC 2 was struck by an aircraft
9:59 a.m. WTC 2 collapsed
10:28 a.m. WTC 1 collapsed
5:21 p.m. WTC 7 collapsed

After WTC 1 collapsed, the south face of WTC 7 was obscured by smoke, making direct observation of
damage from photographs or videos difficult or impossible. The source of the smoke is uncertain, as
large fires were burning in WTC 5 and WTC 6, as well as those noted below in WTC 7. The light but
prevalent winds from the northwest caused the smoke to rise on the leeward, or south, side of the
building. The following information about damage seen in WTC 7 was obtained from interviews of
people in or near the building:

After WTC 2 collapsed:
• Some south face glass panes were broken at lower lobby floors
• Dust covered the lobby areas at Floors 1 and 3
• Power was on in the building and phones were working
• No fires were observed

Reported close to time of WTC 1 collapse:

• East stair experienced an air pressure burst, filled with dust/smoke, lost lights
• West stair filled with dust/smoke, lost lights, swayed at Floors 29 through 30, and a crack was
felt (in the dark) on the stairwell wall between Floors 27 through 28 and Floors 29 through 30
• Floors 7 and 8 had no power, air was breathable but not clear
