There is a picture of Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon at Lakeside in 1957! The Grove has Redwoods Trees that are thousands of years old. During the 80's fucking Raygun sold almost all the Redwood trees in California to the fucking Japanese for, get this, 5 dollars a foot. About 300 per tree. We now have a tiny line of Redwoods to enjoy, but at the Grove, they still have theirs. Everytime I see those trees, my head explodes. The "Grove" is privately owned. Let's nationalize it and sell THEIR TREES to the fucking Japanese for 5 dollars a foot. See how they like it!
