Saving YouTube videos
I've posted this as a response in another thread, but some of you may find this a useful tool.

To rip and save videos from YouTube, go here http://www.remlapsoftware.com and download YouRipper (Freeware).

To view saved videos, find a free .flv player - there are plenty around, eg:

greasemonkey plugin script for firefox, and FLV Player 1.3.3. i like to archive everything, or play it over and over. no need to waste bandwidth on that.

3. got any recommendations for viewing web videos on a Mac?
Is there a Mac player that will play most file formats? It's very frustrating to download a video only to learn that it's incompatible with your player.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

6. VLC player should work

The Windows version plays pretty much anything you throw at it -- can't vouch for the Mac version but should be fine.
