Kerik chosen as keynote speaker at 9/11 ceremony
Former New York City Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik, a national figure following the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks who later became mired in scandal, will be the keynote speaker when Sussex County holds its annual 9/11 remembrance ceremony on Sunday.

Organizers who invited Kerik said fallout from his withdrawn nomination as U.S. homeland security chief in 2004, allegations of misconduct and Kerik's recent guilty plea to two ethics violations should not detract from the leadership he demonstrated five years ago.

1. I can't believe they are going to let this incompetent fraudsters
anywhere near the place.

Police and firemen died that day because of his screw ups and crappy communications system.
