3. Interesting
My pasta, I never knew how many data channels there were in a modern flight recorder. It goes on for pages.

This is a great oportunity to look at this data,
and either find out what happened , or catch them in a lie !
i wish i had tme to go over it with a fine tooth comb, but i do not.

5. "Pressure altitude" does not equal "FT above the ground"

6. There may be a simple reason for that
Edited on Wed Aug-23-06 01:45 AM by salvorhardin
A couple actually. The plane either wasn't at 0 ft altitude when the data recorder stopped recording altitude, the altitude sensor was unable to keep up with the rapid change in altitude, the data recorder could not keep up with the rapid flow of data from the altitude sensor or the data recorder was never able to record the last bits of information regarding altitude before the crash. I would be it's either the altitude sensor or the data recorder itself were unable to keep up with the rapid change in altitude at the end.

7. Shanksville's elevation is 2,230 feet above sea level.

This looks quite consistent with the trace: one fifth of 10,000 feet above the zero mark.

I am unsure about the exact elevation of the crash site.

9. Yeah, that too. :)
I wonder how long it will be before http://911review.org/evidence/93/Flight-93_shot_down.html
is edited(or deleted) to be more accurate.

No I don't.

10. Thanks, greyl
There is a lot of data and info in there that I have never seen before. I was particularly pleased to see that he also received the raw data so that others who understand the technical aspects of it can do the calculations to satisfy themselves as to the veracity of the results.

Good on Mike for perservering with his FOIA request and, as always, for his excellent research.
