9/11 poll - where do you stand?

Mods I know this could go in the 9/11 forum but Id like to get a feel for the general GD population on where they stand regarding 9/11. A lot of stuff has started to come out lately with Webster Tarpley on Mike Malloy last night and the 9/11 forum playing on CSPAN.

So DU, where do you stand on 9/11?

But the latest news has finally won me over. I'm now officially a MIHOPer.

10. I know. I'm amazed by it myself.

But with the latest info about Pentagon and cheney lying to the 9/11 commission I've finally been converted. The problem is their lies paint them as rather stupid, so the question is what are they covering up? Combine this with the fact that we know that bush* threatened Afghanistan with blanket bombing just before it happened, the reports that were supplied to the mis-administration that were ignored, and pushing veteran anti-terror advisers such as Richard Clarke out of the picture, and it all just starts to be too much to allow the benefit of doubt. There's more than just incompetence there.

So I guess I'll have to look into those "weather balloons" now, huh? :crazy:

Which is, they knew a spectacular terrorist attack was coming, but didn't try to stop it, in part because it would give them an excuse to start WW3, but they didn't know when/where/howbig the attack would be.

I guess that's virtually the official story, if you read between the lines of the 9/11 Report.

I am absolutely convinced that elements of the Bush administration not only let 9/11 happen, they actually facilitated it . . . just which elements I'm not sure -- but I strongly believe that Cheney was a mover and shaker . . .

as far as conspiracy theories go, the most fantastic one of all is the story being foisted upon us by the government . . . none of it makes sense, and most of the available evidence contradicts what BushCo says happened that day . . .
