1. downloading entire site?

I have read about applications that will downloaded an entire website, subfolders, pix, docs, etc. they seem ideal for something like this. but since the docs are linked on an html page -- and not an individual webpage -- can it still be done?

i installed httracker yesterday and can't get it to work in this case, although it worked correctly when i tried to download the contents of my own website.
