Aksa Martyrs Brigades head says PA never told group to stop attacks
Zakariya al Zubaidi, the head of Fatah's armed wing in the Jenin area, said Saturday that he and other members haven't received any instructions from the Palestinian Authority or the Fatah leadership to abide by the unilateral cease-fire declared by Palestinian factions.

"Until now no one has consulted with us and we haven't received instructions from the leadership to stop the fighting," Zubiadi said in an interview with The Jerusalem Post.

"This hudna (temporary truce) doesn't concern me or any other party," he added. "This is a unilateral hudna. A hudna should be between two armies. The hudna we have today is between a people and an army. Even a hudna that is held between two armies has two parties... I don't accept this hudna because it's one-sided." Zubaidi, 27, was 13 when he was first shot and wounded while throwing stones during the first intifada. He later spent four years in an Israeli jail.

He was released following the signing of the Oslo Accords and exiled to Jericho. He returned to Jenin using faked identity papers....
