Suicidal Jews: When Will They Learn?
Although the rallies were all encompassing, it was obvious that at the heart of the matter were Jews and those that hate them. After all, what else motivated the suicide bomber of bus #19? Or the Arab protesters across the street from the rally in Berkeley screaming, "Go back to Germany"? Why else were their children carrying gruesome signs accusing Jews of "organ thievery", the modern blood libel? The Nazi-like hatred for Jews indoctrinated in Palestinian youth from the moment they're born is undeniable, and peace in the Middle East will not be achieved until that changes. The results were clear for all to see on the streets of Berkeley and San Francisco. And yet, it was those in the anti-terror crowd who were labeled "hate-mongers".

One of the most spurious accusations leveled against rally supporters was that somehow they had "incited" violence simply by their presence. Violence was indeed the goal of a mob of keffiyeh-clad youth who disrupted the peaceful rally in "free speech" bastion Berkeley. And in San Francisco, the same group was thwarted. No doubt the disapproving Jewish community felt a certain "I told you so" at the news. But does it then follow that it was the rally-goers' fault they were attacked? Unscrupulous lawyers accusing rape victims of "asking for it" have used the same argument. It's called blaming the victim.

Unfortunately, not all feel that way. In a strange psychological case of identification, some Jews throw in their lot with the opposition. They have bought into their own demonization and have become, in effect, Jewish anti-Semites. It appears they would rather assist in their own annihilation than come to grips with the hatred directed towards them. This propensity for self-loathing is well known. Why else would openly anti-Semitic, self-styled "pro-Palestinian" organizations make recruiting Jewish members their main focus? Just ask the members of "Jews for a Free Palestine", who stood shoulder to shoulder with the Jew-haters in Berkeley.

snip

One thing is certain, it's time for Jews to stop apologizing for being Zionists. At a time of rising worldwide anti-Semitism and an increase in Jews making Aliyah, it should be painfully obvious why the nation of Israel is so important. Jews have always faced hatred, but unlike in the past, they now have a place to turn. And it is one with which Jews have deep religious and historical ties.

7. Locking
Cinammon Stillwell is a notorious hatemonger in the same vein as Coulter, though even more inflammatory. This article re-hashes old hate speech accusing Palestinians and Arabs of being the new Nazi's, and that any Jew who chooses to disagree with current Israeli policy is a self-hating Jew.

3. Some people
have a problem with "their own people" or at least the direction that their own people have taken... not all, but some...

Declaration of Israeli Reservists
A Refusal to Serve in the West Bank and Gaza

We, reserve combat officers and soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces, who were raised upon the principles of Zionism, sacrifice and giving to the people of Israel and to the State of Israel, who have always served in the front lines, and who were the first to carry out any mission, light or heavy, in order to protect the State of Israel and strengthen it.

We, combat officers and soldiers who have served the State of Israel for long weeks every year, in spite of the dear cost to our personal lives, have been on reserve duty all over the Occupied Territories, and were issued commands and directives that had nothing to do with the security of our country, and that had the sole purpose of perpetuating our control over the Palestinian people. We, whose eyes have seen the bloody toll this Occupation exacts from both sides.

We, who sensed how the commands issued to us in the Territories, destroy all the values we had absorbed while growing up in this country.

We, who understand now that the price of Occupation is the loss of IDF’s human character and the corruption of the entire Israeli society.

We, who know that the Territories are not Israel, and that all settlements are bound to be evacuated in the end.

We hereby declare that we shall not continue to fight this War of the Settlements.

We shall not continue to fight beyond the 1967 borders in order to dominate, expel, starve and humiliate an entire people.

We hereby declare that we shall continue serving in the Israel Defense Forces in any mission that serves Israel’s defense.

The missions of occupation and oppression do not serve this purpose-- and we shall take no part in them.

4. somehow they had "incited" violence simply by their presence.
So did the U.S. Liberty... simply by her presence was violence perpetrated upon her... who weeps for these? Who even knows about it? Who even cares. I wonder who was calling the shots on this infamous day in history... I wonder if he has risen to any great position in the Israeli government.....

>>An item by Steve Aftergood in the July 17, 2001 issue of Secrecy News concerned my new book on the National Security Agency, Body of Secrets. It related to my chapter on Israel's massive, unprovoked, daylight attack on the NSA spy ship USS Liberty in 1967. Thirty-four Americans were killed and another 171 were wounded when Israeli fighters poured into the ship more than 800 rounds of cannon fire, rockets, heavy bombs, and even burning napalm. That was followed by three Israeli PT boats, which fired five torpedoes at the ship, hitting it with one and virtually destroying the vessel. Israeli gunners then fired at the rubber life rafts thrown into the sea by sailors attempting to flee the burning ship.

Machine-gun fire was also targeted against the escaping sailors, leading many of them to believe that it was Israel's intention to sink the ship and kill everyone on board. (The casualty rate was nearly an incredible 80 percent). Israel clamed the attack was a mistake -- the Liberty, they said, was mistaken for an Egyptian ship. But throughout the attack, which lasted more than an hour, the Liberty was flying a large American flag, had its name painted in English in five-foot letters across the stern, never fired a shot, and was virtually unarmed.<<

5. We have become worse than Israel
At least Israel doesn't conduct "shock-and-awe" campaigns against the Palestinians.

I propose a temporary moratorium on anti-Zionist spewings until we get our own asses out of Iraq.

Geesh, talk about the pot calling the kettle black.
