Deputy defence minister: Palestinians apparently not behind Egypt car bomb
http://cnews.canoe.ca/CNEWS/World/WarOnTerrorism/2004/10/08/660664-ap.html

<snip>

"The deadly car bombings at two Egyptian resorts crowded with Israeli tourists bear the hallmarks of the al-Qaida terror network, and it appears Palestinian militants were not involved, Israeli officials and counter-terrorism experts said Friday.

Israel's deputy defence minister, Zeev Boim, cautioned that very little is known about the attackers. "There has not been a full investigation," he told Israel Army Radio. "I think it is early to assess exactly what we are talking about."

Boim said that at first glance, "this is different from what we are familiar with from Palestinian terrorist groups." He said al-Qaida involvement appeared more likely."

<snip>

"The Islamic militant Hamas, which has killed hundreds of Israelis in suicide bombings in the past four years of fighting, wrote about the attacks on its web site, but did not praise them.
Since its founding in 1987, the Islamic militant group has refrained from carrying out attacks abroad. Hamas leaders have repeatedly said that their conflict is with Israel, and that they don't want to export it."

1. They think Al Quaeda may be a work here? You mean those guys who
were based in Afganistan? Remember Afganistan bush*? The country where more voters are registered to vote than are eligible, where heroin is the backbone of the economy, where the Taliban are making a comeback and the leader of the country needs to be escorted by jet aircrafts while traveling in is military helicopter to make a campaign appearance (no matter that he can't even walk down the street of Kabul). Where bin Ladin was hiding and allowed to escape from sheer incompetence by the Pentagon.

Oh,that place. Good job, bush*. You're two for two in the war/incompetence area.
