Israel Invades 3 Palestinian Cities, Carries Out Assassination Killing 3 i
As the Palestinian Cabinet met late into the night, heavily armed Israeli forces began a series of violent assaults into West Bank towns and cities vehemently escalating the currently volatile situation and damaging irreconcilably, the tenuous US sponsored Road Map to peace.

As evening fell large numbers of Israeli tanks and armored vehicles began to amass on the outskirts of Ramallah, Nablus, Jenin, Hebron and Tulkarem. In the early hours of the morning these large forces commenced simultaneous operations - invading refugee camps and medical centers, demolishing houses, whilst arresting and injuring many.

In Jenin tanks entered the refugee camp, firing randomly into the air before invading houses and terrorizing sleeping families. The city of Hebron was placed under a strict curfew with all entrances and back roads closed. No one may enter or leave the city. In Nablus too, large numbers of tanks and jeeps entered the town and invaded a Palestine Medical Relief Clinic in the Old City. The Israeli operation is continuing inside Nablus.

1. Maybe Arafat shouldn't have given the finger to Israeli security requests?
From the AP:

"In the end, Abbas and Arafat agreed on a joint statement which said the Palestinian Authority would enforce the rule of law, take control of illegal weapons and end "military displays" by the militants, a reference to marches led by gunmen.Islamic Jihad and Hamas officials said they were ordered by Palestinian police not to speak to reporters, and many leaders of the two groups had their phones turned off Thursday. The Palestinian leadership statement did not refer to arrests, which would appear to be a cornerstone of any crackdown, but Palestinian officials said there would be detentions. "It's a campaign that even in the worst nightmares Hamas and Islamic Jihad never imagined," said Elias Zananiri, a spokesman for Palestinian security chief Mohammed Dahlan. "There's a list of people to be arrested."

2. the genocide and oppression of Palestinians continues....
Israel never had any intention of seeking a just peace, and before the usual suspects chime in, recall that the Israeli's were the first to violate the cease fire, and thereby initiate a new cycle of violence.

4. If they
(the Palestinians) had abided by the cease-fire, there would be no retaliation. My, how we love to blame the victim for fighting back. I would like to keep this discussion on a purely academic level, but I still see the little girl in shock, blood dripping down her face as she was carried off the bus. At this point in time I am not rational so I won't respond as I would like. Just keep in mind NEVER AGAIN!!!
