http://www.theaterforthenewcity.net/fist.htmStraight to New York City from its acclaimed run at the Public Theatre of South Florida, THE FIST examines the thorny question of whether pacifists are traitors. Three generations of an Israeli family are thrown into turmoil when the son – a highly decorated army officer – refuses to report to his reserve unit under penalty of military trial and imprisonment. Entertainment News & Views called the play, "compelling drama" and said that it "evokes such passion you sometimes forget this is a play". The Jewish Journal said it is "a moving and searing play about a serious question being played out in Israel today."
