Why is the hypocrisy? Where is the Arab league when Arabs are killing Arabs? In 1970 after some unrest in Jordan, by king Hussein orders, thousands of Palestinians were slathered or displaced. Saddam Hussein gassed his own people and the Kurdish. The Syrians killed thousands when Assad came to power. Even today, thousands Algerian are being killed, the Arab League is still quiet. It is very simple; the Palestinians are being used as leverage for the Arab world against Israel. This conflict between the Israelis and Palestinians would be over if the Arab countries will denounce terrorism and will work together to help build a functioning and productive Palestinian state, the problem is, how do they excuse their hate toward Israel if there will be such Palestinian state?

The hypocrisy does not stop there. In Belgium Ariel Sharon was investigated for war crimes (it is interesting that even when Arabs are killing Arabs the blame is on the Jews), when Belgium, not long ago did their own killing in Congo. England went to war with Argentina on a “disputed territory” 1000s of miles from England. How many were killed in Greece and Spain in there own internal disputes. Not to forget the Armenian and the Jewish Holocausts. It seems like in the current situation between the Jews and the Arabs as far as the Europeans stand, is the same, as always, ARAB OIL IS THICKER THEN BLOOD. The Anti Semitism still continues in Europe. There are many Humane rights organizations that blame Israel for violating humane rights of the Palestinians. Where are these organization when innocent people are being murder by Palestinians homicide bombers?

The UN is also not immune from hypocrisy, there are more then 300 resolutions against Israel, but not even 1 against the Arab world. Isn't the UN suppose to be an un bias body for the benefits of its members? It doesn't look this way, as seen by previous resolutions, the decision that already made before the investigation even began about "massacre" in Jenin, calling Zionism a racism, etc...

You gave the population figure for non-Palestinian Arabs in Israel. I don't see the Palestinian population figure.

It actually worries me if you left it out.

You might want to explore how much of the donated money for the Palestinians (over fifty years and they still can't make it on their own--exactly WHAT would statehood give them?) actually reaches the Palestinian people as, I think it was Sixty Minutes revealed, Yasser has very fat healthy personal bank accounts in places like Switzerland.

Here's a summary.

There is no such thing as a "Palestinian People" with a "Historical Homeland" since identification of a distinct ethnic or cultural group called "Palestinians" didn't happen prior to the Arab League's creation of the Palestine Liberation Organization in 1964. Prior to that they were "Arab Refugee" of the 1948 invasion of Israel and the leaders of those refugees refered to themselves as ethnic Syrians and objected to any claim that there was such a thing as a "Palestinian People"

eg 'total Arab population' is far bigger (490 million v. about 290 million) than the total of the populations of all the Arab countries you give. And most estimates I've seen put the worldwide Muslim population at 1000 million, not 1900 million. I've I were you I'd edit out these dubious facts - the definite ones make your point better.

Oh, wait. Most people couldn't remember that. They never bothered to see who that Israel was giving their precious "Palestinian" refugee food and water and shelter while their "brethern" were keeping them locked up in camps.
