A spokesman for the Swedish Embassy in Tel Aviv told Reuters that Gustav Fridolin of the Green Party was among those arrested during the protest near a Palestinian village in the Ramallah area of the West Bank. Israeli police said he could be deported."

Talk about causing some unwanted international attention! Israel is really starting to get unbelievably arrogant. I don't think this is gonna go over too well internationally.

He was protesting Israeli government action while in Israel. While I agree with him in principle, I think it was an incredibly stupid move.
