"Due to air March 28, "The Greatest Story Ever D'ohed" takes the Simpsons to Israel, Haaretz reports.

In Israel, Bart and Homer visit the Western Wall with a tour guide voiced by Sascha Baron Cohen. Cohen caused quite a stir when he galavanted across Israel as "Bruno" in his last film. The episode finds Homer coming down with "Jerusalem Syndrome," causing him to believe he is the Messiah, and Marge exchanging political barbs with the tour guide.

This episode is not series creator Matt Groening's sudden urge to endorse the State of Israel but rather a desire to find the humor in a too often humorless situation. Promises Simpsons producer Al Jean: "This is an episode that people from all three religions will be equally offended by."
