Gaza Rockets Continue Pounding Southern Israel
Source: China View

JERUSALEM, Jan. 18 (Xinhua) -- Three rockets fired from Gaza Strip landed in southern Israel late Sunday afternoon, said Israeli sources, shortly after Hamas announced its a week-long ceasefire plan.

One of the rockets hit an open area near the southern town of Netivot, said the sources, adding that no casualties or damages were reported.

The latest barrage came shortly after Hamas and some other Palestinian factions announced to stage a ceasefire with Israel and give Israel a one-week ultimatum to end its military occupation in the Palestinian enclave.

Earlier in the day, about a dozen rockets and three mortar shells were fired at southern Israel, leaving two people injured. Israeli warplanes struck the launching sites in response.

Israel has put on a unilateral ceasefire since 2 a.m. (0000 GMT), during which Israeli troops said they would hold unprovoked fire but respond harshly to any Palestinian attacks.

2. So how did all of this death and destruction stop Hamas rocket capability exactly?
Oh that's right, it DIDN'T!

The Israeli leadership aren't only war criminals, they're stupid!

3. Hamas is actually stupider
because they have more to lose, and have already lost plenty.

The fact that they continue to fire rockets proves the depth of their stupidity and depravity.

Do they want another 1200 dead people?

They are just itching for it.

4. It was an election ploy to drive their poll numbers up
Since they view Palestinians as less than human, it follows they are unmoved about the Gazan casualties and suffering.

They go to Israel. They and their right-wing policies are the root of the problem here. This 'but but but the otherside!' bullshit is meaningless to me.

1200 people dead by bombs paid and supplied by the good ole' US of A. That's the fucking problem here buddy.

8. Well, Amigo, you said (Do I really need to quote????)
I was just replying in the same manner that you deemed necessary to discuss, Freund.
So now your argument is that the bombs are paid for and supplied by the USA - Different topic altogether - and that is what you are angry about - Buddy.

Well, Friend, why is it meaningless to you now? You commented on it, rudely, and I responded in the same tone and now you change your attitude. Chum.

The "Fucking problem", my friend with benefits, is that you choose to ignore everything that doesn't fit into your small view of the "Fucking problem" - My little booty call.

9. What are you going on about? I didn't change my attitude to anything.

You're the one who is trying to apply spin to my comment. I made a comment about Israel, and you try to absolve it by bringing up Hamas. Like Israel should be justified to do what it does because the otherside is worst. Give me a break.

And sorry that my coarse language apparently got under your skin like a ball of burning White Phosporous.
