Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas on Tuesday accused Israel of aiming to "wipe out" the Palestinian people in Gaza by refusing to end its deadly war on Hamas in the battered enclave.

"This is the 18th day of the Israeli aggression against our people, which has become more ferocious each day as the number of victims rises," Abbas said in Ramallah.

"Israel is keeping up this aggression to wipe out our people over there," he said at the opening of a meeting of the executive committee of the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO).

before it can touch the 11 million Muslims that have been murdered by other Muslims.

There were Islamist suicide bombings in Somalia yesterday, with probably some dead children.

Do we care about those dead children?

Apparently now, because Islamists, not Jews, killed them.

I am not saying murdering anyone is OK (please read my posts).

I am saying I am sick of the double standard.

No one raises an eyebrow when Arab children are murdered in suicide bombings in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Somalia, Lebanon, at the hands of other Arabs.

The only Arab lives that matter, are those killed by Jews?

Why can't ALL those Arab children's lives matter? Why no outrage over those murders?

7. Any innocent life lost, regardless of who they are

and regardless of who is responsible matters. I think more attention is warranted in Gaza, not because they are Arabs killed by Jews, but rather because they are innocent people killed by US sponsored weapons and with US approval.

There has been much focus on Iraqis and innocent people in Afghanistan and Pakistan killed by US actions. I am in no position to affect the actions of other nations or suicide bombers. Other than to criticize them.

But, I have a(n exceedingly) small voice when it come to US policy. I am sufficiently saddened by every act of violence I read of or see. It is always tragic and the undue suffering is heart wrenching.

Humans killing humans is a sad, offensive and unnecessary tradition.

I just have a problem with double standards, and people expecting that developing countries should not be held to civilized standards regarding human rights, abuse, murder.

It's as if people excuse these abuses.

I know of no recent incident fitting your description. al-Shebaab attacked a local warlord faction in Guryiel (new Ethiopian-backed militia "Ahul as-Sunna wa ul-Jamaat"), and al-Shabaab fired morters on the Presidential Palace in Muqdishu, in response the "government" forces fired a mortar that hit a market.
