Hamas Runs For Cover
Interesting story. Does anyone think that Fatah will cooperate with Israel to target Hamas leadership?

Israel has declared war on the Hamas leadership, and given the security services permission to do whatever they can to wipe out the Hamas officials involved in attacks on Israel. In (unofficial) cooperation with Fatah, which has the support of half, or more, of the Gaza population, Israel hopes to destroy Hamas in a few months.

1. I'm sure they'll defeat it as easily
as they defeated Hezbollah two years ago.

2. Most likely a much easier proposition
if they have Fatah helping. Gaza is much smaller than Lebanon and with Israels network of spies and UAV it will be hard for Hamas leaders to hide.

3. Destroying Hamas would be the single best thing for the people of Gaza
They need a leadership that cares about their welfare, not one that plays them like political pawns and causes them unbearable suffering.

4. I think it would be a desperate move for Fatah to publicly take a too pro-Israeli stance.
OTOH it has been clear for some time that Fatah fears Hamas more than Israel. Strategy Page drinks too much KoolAid for my taste, for example "Fatah, which has the support of half, or more, of the Gaza population".
