Hamas chief says attacks on Israel are 'legitimate resistance'
Hamas' Damascus-based political chief Khaled Meshal reiterated his group's hardline stance towards Israel, insisting Saturday on the Palestinians' right to wage 'legitimate resistance.'

Meshal, in comments after talks between Egyptian and Palestinian leaders in Cairo on Saturday, said that 'firing rockets (at Israeli territory) is the right of the Palestinian people, and a matter of legitimate resistance against the occupier.'

As to whether 'the rockets' are also meant to put pressure on Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Meshal only said that exerting 'internal pressure' is not part of his group's policy.

Edited on Sat Apr-28-07 04:03 PM by pelsar
is this now clear enough?....

Meshal, leader of hama and the majority of the PA govt is backing the firing of kassams....... The sole purpose of kassam rockets (an inaccurate rocket) is to kill and terrorize in israeli towns, cities and farms.

so anybody here, for bringing him to the Hague for war crimes? or when a govt targets civilians and the govt is palestenian...it somehow is not considered a 'war crime".....

i know...perhaps hes trying to distract us?....or perhaps he really doesnt mean it...or perhaps it was a bad translation...(did i forget any?) or perhaps to some posters here its legit?

2. It's a Karl Rove false flag news story
I'm very suspicious of the timing of the release of this article. I'm sure Karl Rove had it planted to distract us from something. And don't you know, those in Hamas can't be war criminals, only Israelis can be designated as such. Haven't you been paying attention?
