If he were younger, he would be the perfect candidate to try and resolve the Iraq War and the problems in the Middle East.

full of compassion and humanity. As I'm watching him I can't help but come to terms with the reality that CSpan won't be able to interview Bush for one hour let alone three hours. This is so refreshing. He is so informed on so many subjects and issues.

What's even nicer is that since that one offensive call, only sensible people are calling.

I have only seen a couple of comments on something other than the "book." The rest are comments bitching about it being sent to the "dungeon," as if only 'special people' can post here. Besides, it is not about the title of the OP, I think it was moved because of the four links added, all of which only deal with I/P in some form or fashion.

It's important that they are circulated. Hundreds of frightened kids are locked up in Israeli prisons as Carter pointed out while we argue about thread placement. Thousands more are starving or being shot.

What pains me is seeing this thread marginalized. The title alone of President Carter's book speaks precisely and truly to the present situation in small ways and large.
