IDF Withdraws From Five Lebanese Villages
(IsraelNN.com) According to United Nations personnel in southern Lebanon, IDF forces withdrew from five southern Lebanese villages today. UNIFIL soldiers, followed by Lebanese troops, are reported to have moved in to the villages in the wake of the withdrawals. UNIFIL set up new checkpoints and patrols in the area after Israeli troops pulled out.

15,000 UNIFIL peacekeepers and 15,000 Lebanese army personnel are to replace the IDF presence in southern Lebanon, according to a cease-fire agreement between Israel and the Hizbullah terror organization brokered by the UN last month.
