Crossing red lines through red fields
http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/756436.html

this is an example of a more "balanced" progressive: for those who believe they are "progressive" when in fact they are more like the fanatical/simplistic left, Constantly attempting to show how "evil the israelis are, etc.....

the author has strong beliefs, but they are consistent and not "selective"

"They have put the idea in people's heads here that if the Palestinians come, we have to go, and that is a lie. The liberal Ashkenazi Left wants this division: 'Us here, them there

"Did anyone in the radical Left, who demonstrated against the war in Lebanon, think about the people sitting in bomb shelters in the North?" she asks. "That same Left does not think about people evacuated from homes (settlers) who are now living in trailers and God-knows-when, if at all, they will get a house. What's the story? Are we punishing them? We have to relate to these people. If we want to talk about refugees in 1948, we have to talk about settlers."

she didnt mention the palestenain fanatics/jihadnikim but that was not the point of what she writes about here.
