Undoubtedly, just more Israeli
paranoia.

snip> "Israel should prepare for the possibility of a missile attack from Iran, a cabinet minister said on Tuesday.

"We are liable to face an Iranian missile attack. The Iranians have said very clearly that if they come under attack, their primary target would be Israel," Rafi Eitan, a member of the decision-making inner cabinet, told Israel Radio.

Iran could fire missiles at the Jewish state "therefore we must prepare for what could come, and prepare the entire country for a missile strike attack, to prepare all the civilian systems so they are ready for this," Eitan said.

The radio said Eitan, a former spymaster, meant that Israel should prepare its bomb shelters to protect against a possible Iranian attack."<snip

1. If the US attacks Iran, then Israel may have a problem.

2. Oh OK that must be what the Rapture Ready board was talking about

They didn't put a link, the Apocalypse is supposed to be happening today, or at least I thought it was the Apocalypse, but some of the people on here are saying no it is the Rapture.

But just that story about the bomb shelters is all the Rapture Ready board had, and I couldn't find anything on there about today really, like a schedule or something.

5. Oh this rapture stuff already....
What? Was it supposed to be the end of the world or something? Wait until the next eclipse or big meteor shower; I am sure some medieval mind can dream something up about it.

3. The Iranians have said very clearly that
if they come under attack, their primary target would be Israel. No doubt. I would assume that the Iranians would respond by attacking Israel. I doubt they would be sitting on their hands. Who else would attack Iran, except perhaps the US, and that would almost have to be in collusion with Israel,
IMHO and most of the world.

4. Undoubtedly.
'Iran already has the bomb

Jan. 31, 2006 3:17 | Updated Jan. 31, 2006 10:55

Rafi Eitan suspects that Iran already has enough enriched uranium fissionable material to manufacture at least one or two atom bombs of the Hiroshima type. "Otherwise Iranian President Ahmadinejad would not have dared come out with his declaration that Israel should be wiped off the map," repeating it in various versions. His efforts at denying the Holocaust in which six million Jews were slaughtered prove that there is method in Ahmadinejad's madness. "Don't treat him like a madman," Chief of General Staff Dan Halutz recently cautioned.

>snip

Eitan told me: "I am convinced that the Iranians already have at least one or two nuclear devices. They have been operating centrifuges for a number of years now, they have natural uranium, and who on earth believes the Iranians when they say that they have closed down one facility or another? You would have to be an idiot or terribly na ve to believe them."

6. It's not paranoia unless some choose to conclude this man is
just some blowhard. He keeps saying the same thing with the same theme over and over and one should take his statements seriously and prepare accordingly.

"Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has called for Israel to be "wiped off the map." He has said Israel "should not assume" its ceasefire with Iranian-backed Hizbollah guerrillas last week means an end to the crisis."
