Seven killed in Gaza air strikes

At least seven people, including a child, have been killed in an Israeli operation in the southern Gaza Strip, Palestinian officials have said.

Witnesses said about 50 tanks, backed by bulldozers, pushed further into Gaza, taking up positions near Rafah.

The Israeli military said it carried out air strikes on militant targets, including a group which it said was trying to launch an anti-tank rocket.

would seem to be defensive, in response to "50 tanks, backed by bulldozers"

1. obviously you haven't internalized the proper nominclature...

...when the US or an ally march into another country with guns blazing, it's self-defense. When the country being invaded shoots back, it's unprovoked terrorism...sheesh, don't you watch the M$M?

yet somehow, there is. I'm completely baffled as to how that basic fact can't be acknowledged by both sides.

In a situation with so much controversy, it seems to me that should be one of the true facts we can all agree on: if you invade another country or people land, you are the aggressor.
