The Israeli army has been accused of using Palestinian civilians as human shields in an operation in northern Gaza.

According to the Israeli human rights group, B'tselem, six civilians including two minors were subjected to the illegal tactic during an incursion into the town of Beit Hanoun last week.

5. There's an even worse "human shield" issue for IDF

And that's the settlements. What are the settlements, if not a human shield countenanced and encouraged by the Israeli right? I don't support Hezbollah staging military supplies and personnel in civilian areas, and I don't support Israel building civilian settlements in what is still a war zone.
