What does doing a fly-by over Assad...
have to do with a missin soldier in Palestine?

Color me stupid, but it seems like they're going in the wrong direction. I didn't think Assad had that much influence over Hamas. Am I wrong about this?

More questions:

How many people is Israel willing to kill in order to get one guy back? Is this an excuse to force their will on Palestine?

...of the Syrian branch of Hamas or the "political leader" of Hamas, itself(there is dispute). The Israeli Mossad has been trying to kill him for years.
