Anti-terror unit: Israeli citizens should leave Sinai at once
Senior Israeli anti-terrorism officials have issued a stern warning to its citizens to stay away from Egypt's Sinai desert, citing an "increased threat of kidnapping of Israeli citizens on the Sinai coast."

The warning, issued by the Anti-Terrorism Command, which is under the aegis of the Prime Minister's Office, was issued late on Monday.

The Command estimated on Tuesday that there may be 300-400 Israelis currently vacationing in Sinai.

The warning came after bombs rocked the Sinai resort of Dahab on May 4, killing 21 people. Islamic militants were blamed for the attacks. No Israelis were injured.

(Note: The clause "...which is under the aegis of the Prime Minister's Office.." was written as "...which stands "behind the aegis" of the Prime Minister's Office..." :))
