Palestinian kills Israeli woman, wounds five

RAMALLAH, Feb 5 (KUNA) -- A Palestinian man stabbed an Israeli woman to death Sunday and wounded five others in Tel Aviv, according to the Israeli radio.

The man, from the Isawiyah town, stepped into a bus and stabbed the six Israeli passengers with a knife, explained the radio.

They were rushed to hospital where the woman, 60, died of her wounds.

1. Palestinian Fatah faction shells Israeli settlements

GAZA, Feb 5 (KUNA) -- The Palestinian Fatah Movement's military wing, the Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, said on Sunday it has fired two local-made missiles on the Israeli settlement of Netiv Haasara.

The movement said in a statement that it has also fired a third missile on the town of Sderot.

It added the shelling came in response to an Israeli attack which claimed three of its activists.

2. Israeli Airstrikes Kill 3 Palestinians

Israeli forces have carried out air strikes on a vehicle and buildings linked to the Palestinian militant group, the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades.

Three Palestinian men were killed in a Gaza City attack while Israeli aircraft and artillery also targeted areas near the northern Gaza town of Beit Hanoun. Israel launched the strikes Sunday after Palestinians fired rockets from Gaza into southern Israel on Friday.
