You gun nuts are really gonna love this:

There it is "Big Ernie" in all of it's lead launching glory. Proudly displayed along US 41 up where the dirt is red. Big Ernie is 35 feet long, weighs 4000 lbs, and is the world's largest working rifle, powered by propane, oxygen, and an electronic ignition.
With a gun this big, one could do all kinds of good things: You could fight off a really big tyrannical government, hunt some really big mourning doves, or fight off a whole bunch of criminals.
Eat your hearts out.

12. Is that the "Atomic Cannon"
The one that was a Renwal kit in the 60's?

14. Nope.
Both are German railway guns (hell, I just Googled for "railway guns" for those pics).

Never heard of the "Atomic Cannon", although it wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't copied or designed from captured German equipment or engineers.

The big guns are kinda cool, but rather hard to conceal.

If I had my choice I'd go with the "Davy Crockett"... something I can hide in the garage.

I imagine it would be fine for taking care of those inconsiderate neighbors who live a mile away from me and keep me awake with their booming "50cent" albums (I'm a very light sleeper).

The top one is the most powerfull conventional cannon ever made, the German WWII Gustav, a 800mm (About 20 inches) Cannon. http://search.netscape.com/ns/boomframe.jsp?query=German+WWII+railroad+guns&page=1&offset=0&result_url=redir%3Fsrc%3Dwebsearch%26requestId%3D3e2957ea0e8c1732%26clickedItemRank%3D2%26userQuery%3DGerman%2BWWII%2Brailroad%2Bguns%26clickedItemURN%3Dhttp%253A%252F%252Fuser.mc.net%252F%257Ehawk%252Fgustav.htm%26invocationType%3D-%26fromPage%3DNSCPIndex2%26amp%3BampTest%3D1&remove_url=http%3A%2F%2Fuser.mc.net%2F%7Ehawk%2Fgustav.htm

The second picture is "Anzio Annie" which was used with great affect by the Germans during the invasion of Anzio during the Italian Campaign of WWII. It was 280mm (about 7 inches), the same Caliber as "Atomic Annie".
http://search.netscape.com/ns/boomframe.jsp?query=Anzio+Annie&page=1&offset=0&result_url=redir%3Fsrc%3Dwebsearch%26requestId%3D4d6025969fe31545%26clickedItemRank%3D1%26userQuery%3DAnzio%2BAnnie%26clickedItemURN%3Dhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.diggerhistory.info%252Fpages-weapons%252Fanzio_annie.htm%26invocationType%3D-%26fromPage%3DNSCPIndex2%26amp%3BampTest%3D1&remove_url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.diggerhistory.info%2Fpages-weapons%2Fanzio_annie.htm

This is Atomic Annie - a 280mm Cannon capable of firing an 1950 era Atomic Bomb. By the 1960s the US was making A-bombs small enough to fit into 155mm Cannons and these were withdrawn from service: 155mm Cannons are still in use by the US Army and our NATO allies.

22. Nice sculpture
A dolled-up pumpkin cannon.

I would have made it look like a ray gun, with faux heat dissipators and flashing lights.
