Walker (R-moran) administration bars open carry of guns in (WI) state buildings
http://www.jsonline.com/news/statepolitics/walkers-administration-bars-open-carry-of-weapons-in-state-buildings-nr38ujq-134779118.html

Gov. Scott Walker's administration is barring openly carrying guns into state buildings, even for people with valid concealed carry permits.

The Republican governor's administration is also declining to say how many state employees have told their bosses that they'll be bringing concealed guns to work after the administration decided last month to allow that for valid permit holders.

The new policies all came in response to the state's new concealed carry law, which on Nov. 1 made Wisconsin the 49th state in the nation to let citizens carry hidden weapons.

"As a matter of policy, open carry will not be allowed in state buildings, thus any person openly carrying a weapon in a state building will be asked to leave," Department of Administration spokesman Tim Lundquist said in an email.

3. I'd say he is.
I have never been able to understand the difference a thin piece of cloth makes to ones' frame of mind (both carrier and observer).

Walker is a dick.

4. Just means the arrogant ass knows he has pushed too many too far....
Why anyone would want guns in government buildings is beyond me, but I'm guessing this "pro-gun" hypocrit has finally had a "come to geebus" moment with regard to his own safety and the lunacy of "guns, guns, guns" and more guns EVERYWHERE.

10. Concealed weapons are NOT allowed in Colorado state capitol
18-12-105 Unlawfully carrying a concealed weapon - unlawful possession of
weapons
(1) A person commits a class 2 misdemeanor if such person knowingly and
unlawfully:
(a) Carries a knife concealed on or about his or her person; or
(b) Carries a firearm concealed on or about his or her person; or
(c) Without legal authority, carries, brings, or has in such person's possession a
firearm or any explosive, incendiary, or other dangerous device on the property of or
within any building in which the chambers, galleries, or offices of the general
assembly, or either house thereof, are located, or in which a legislative hearing or
meeting is being or is to be conducted, or in which the official office of any member,
officer, or employee of the general assembly is located.
Concealed Weapon (CCW) permit holders are also not allowed to carry a weapon inside
the Capitol per CRS 18-12-214 (4).
For all other statutes pertaining to weapons, please refer to Colorado Revised Statutes
18-12-101, 18-12-102, and 18-12-106.

But, feel free to push that limit, if you are so otherwise convinced....

8. If you have a concealed carry option in your state, you don't need
concealed carry. The only reason people were open carrying was because they had no concealed carry option.

Moron.

12. Wow! That's the second time you've agreed with Walker.
On the same side as Walker again, and all those right wing web site posts.

Nice friends you have Jpak.

13. Just more GOP/NRA douchebaggery, right?
Oh, you AGREE with it in this case.

Nevermind...

Further proof that the divide in this forum has nothing to do with left vs right, and is a simple matter of pro vs anti, where rights of the people relating to firearms are concerned.
