Wisconsin: Concealed Carry law expected to be passed today.
http://www.jsonline.com/news/statepolitics/124289954.html

<snip>

Madison - The state Assembly is expected to pass the concealed carry bill on Tuesday.

The Assembly voted to make it a special order of business, which means that Democrats will not be able to object to the bill being advanced out of the GOP-controlled house.

The bill has already passed the Senate, so if the Assembly passes it Tuesday it will go to Gov. Scott Walker, a supporter, for his signature.

The Senate passed the measure last week allowing people to carry concealed weapons by a 25-8 margin, getting votes from all 19 Republicans and six Democrats, including Sen. Lena Taylor (D-Milwaukee). The bill includes provisions requiring training and permits, both of which were sought by Walker and Democrats.

They were talking to permit, no training, no brain required. This is better.

5. All you gun control people are still safe in Chicago - c'mon down!
Don't be disheartened. Even with Wisconsin allowing concealed carry, you can still enjoy a vacation in beautiful gun free Chicago.

If you overlook the recent rash of gang crimes in the prime tourist areas and on the trains, and the regular shootings in several neighborhoods, and a year long chain of armed burglaries on the north side, it's a perfectly safe place to come with the kids. Enjoy our beautuful museums, just be careful where you park.

And it's totally gun free, well except for our crooked aldermen, the gang bangers, the cops and the others who don't obey any of the laws they don't like anyway. But other than that I can assure you that no law abiding person in this city has a gun on them.

Now don't you feel better?

Good luck to you behind the cheddar curtain cousins.

11. You do know that this was not a straight party line vote, right?
Dems also voted for the new law.

Just like the new expanded PA castle law, Dems as well as the GOP reps voted for it.

Try a new fairy tale and see if anyone believes you next time or just accept that you are far out of the Dem mainstream on this issue.

12. Dems, like everyone else, fairly pro-gun rights here. One Dem group in the State...
...has gun raffles for fund raisers.
