Holder says ‘gunwalking wrong’
In response to a request by Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-Texas) to comment on “Project Gunwalker”* allegations Attorney General Eric Holder said “for the first time that letting guns ‘walk’ into the hands of criminals for any reason is wrong,” Sharyl Attkisson of CBS News reports.

7. Those factories seem to be complying with the law, the ATF is the problem ...
If the ATF knowingly failed to enforce the law and allowed and encouraged firearms to be smuggled across the border, their failure to do their job directly caused death and injury to Mexican citizens.

Your impossible dream of stopping all firearm production will be fulfilled far in the future if ever. This problem is occurring now. Surely you, with your dislike of the damage that the misuse of firearms cause, can agree that this is a serious issue that deserves investigation and possibly an overhaul of the ATF management.

12. Agree that any ATF activity which doesn't seize and destroy guns is ill advised.

Destroy anything that is used in a crime, leave law abiding citizens alone.

5. If it's wrong, then why didn't he stop it?
He could say he didn't know, but not knowing what your law enforcement agencies are doing is just as bad.

9. Well, if there was ever a government agency that thoroughly deserved it...
However, there's usually someone who knew what was going on that will benefit from the sacrifice to appease the gods....

11. So he's an NRA stooge, too!
I have it on good authority that government facilitation of criminal gun running is (not the point / good / fiction - pick one), and that we should all ignore this NRA diversionary tactic.

Well it appears that Obama's Attorney General is on their payroll; why else condemn gunwalking?
