If the Brady Campaign states that these magazines are "assault clips" there is no need for a police officer to have them.

26. That move is ultimately good for the RKBA, IMO.

It marginalizes the Brady Campaign even more by roping tens of millions more gun owners into the "under threat of ban" category, thereby increasing gun owner activism, and the media will repeat the term ad nauseam to ensure maximum exposure. It will also increase sales of full-size, full-capacity pistols (due to hedging and protest buying), will drive magazine sales through the roof by encouraging hedging, and makes the Brady Campaign look ignorant to boot. Ultimately good for our side, IMO, like the "assault weapon" fraud proved to be.

I suppose I'll probably go out and pick up some magazines myself at some point. Not because I think the BC has a chance of passing an over-10-round ban, but as a protest. They're inexpensive, and I'll certainly use them in matches regardless.
