CBS news appears ready to get involved:
CBS News is working on a report to get at the truth of the assault rifle sales to suspected straw purchasers. We are in need of firsthand information from people who have it. Our deadline is ASAP. We have a lot of information that's been circulating, but we need to talk to sources directly. You do NOT have to appear on television or be quoted on TV by name (although it would be extremely helpful to have those types of sources too). We can just start with a phone conversation. We are very experienced in dealing with whistleblowers and covert sources. Please contact soonest and pass along our contact info if you know others who might be willing to talk to us: 202-457-4306 Sharyl Attkisson sac@cbsnews.com

Stop playing politics with the greatest law enforcement agency ever created. The entire 5th floor and beyond should be quieried. Ford for his lies to Congress. Loos et al. for her obstruction of justice and judicial misconduct. Hoover for his waste fraud and abuse and covering of the abuses starting with Vanessa Mclemore. Melson for ignoring the evidence of gross mismanagement and corruption and perjury. Martin, Gleysteen, Torres, Crenshaw Newell, and Gillette for misconduct and abuse under color of law. Martin and Riehl for the dismantling of our explosive and arson programs. Newell and Gilette for ignoring and obstructing the arson/attempted murder of an agent (Jay Dobyns) and his family. Newell, Gillette, Weeb and Torres for witholding and obstructing the administrations commitment to stem the violence in Mexico. Every SAC and ASAC who has mismanaged ESF-13. Each and every Sac and ASAC who have admitted this Bureau is out of control but exhibited cowardice by not going on record and reported these abuses as required by Oath and Policy. Martin has openly acknowledged the breakdowns, abuses and failures but has sat silent, and is our best choice for a future DD under Traver? Martin is personally responsible for millions in waste of needless disputes due to lack of leadership and the subsequent loss of tens of senior Agents. Traver sits silent in the corner watching these failures and has NOT been heard from. If this is the agencies idea of leadership, Mr. Grassley and our other elected officials have NO CHOICE but to examine the future of the Bureau. Good luck Senator.
That thread is worth a read.
