Bloomberg's News, is making up stories out of thin air again.
The shooting at the largest military base in the U.S. left another 30 wounded, officials said. The carnage could have been worse as the suspect stormed a crowded waiting room, reloading and firing more than 100 rounds from a semi-automatic machine pistol with an extended magazine, officials also said.

Somehow I find it hard to believe that a military official, would say... "semi-automatic machine pistol with an extended magazine"

But I know of several so-called reporters, who would....

Evidently, David Wethe in Killeen, Texas, at dwethe@bloomberg.net is one.

1. What the fuck is a semi-automatic machine pistol?
Semi-automatic Pistol. Machine Pistol. Pick one. It cannot be both.

I don't think anyone even makes an extended magazine for the 5.7. 20 rounds appears to be the factory max.

3. Looks like there might be a 30 round aftermarket mag.
Seems sort of trivial really...

Sir, since you have proven that you lack the faintest trace of journalistic integrity, how might you justify keeping your First Amendment Rights? I recommend that in the future, should you be required to write on the subject of firearms, that you consult a subject matter technical expert. Massad Ayoob springs to mind, and Google is inexpensive.
