Despite the heart-wrenching tale of woe, Jamal Blair, 18, was jailed without bail after a hearing Friday in Bronx Criminal Court. Defense lawyer Angelo MacDonald said that after Blair's father killed his mother in 1993, the dad fled and was never arrested. Blair "was sitting in the crib, and he stood there over his dead mother for at least a day," MacDonald told reporters. "To this day, it haunts him. He's had a rough life."
